About
Lynne Iribarren is a cinematographer and photographer based in Paris, currently working in Tokyo. She came to the camera through the machinery behind it: twelve years in visual effects and a long parallel career building the open-source software that moving images run on.
That double background shapes how she shoots. Lighting, lenses and colour are handled with the same precision as the pipeline that carries them to the screen.
Her directing and cinematography work lives at Cyanotype Films, the collective she founded and runs from Paris. Alongside, she is a long-time FFmpeg developer and a member of the Khronos Group, the Alliance for Open Media and VideoLAN.
